Addicted to sugar? Can't stop at one cookie? Studies show that white sugar and sugary carbs trick your brain into wanting more and more.  How do you stop the cravings?

3 Ways to Fight Sugar Cravings

  1. Eat protein.  When you crave sugar, eat a piece of chicken, lean turkey, hard boiled egg.
  2. After eating turkey, go COLD TURKEY. Don't take even 1 bite of a sugary sweet dessert. Like an alcoholic who cannot stop at one drink, don't even eat 1 cookie.
  3. Pantry raid. If it's not in your house, you can't eat it. I dumped the heavenly box of Sees chocolate candy because I cannot eat just one. If it's not there, I don't crave it because I don't see it every day.  When it's not in my house, it ironically stops calling my name! 🙂
