Recipe: Green Banana Shake

  • 1 large sweet, ripe banana
  • 1 handful of kale, spinach, romaine, or any mild-tasting salad greens, washed and chopped
  • 2 cups cold water or coconut water
  • Handful of ice
  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder


Pour cold water into a blender. Add ice and greens, and process for 30-60 seconds. Next add the banana and protein powder, and blend until smooth. This is a great post-workout drink!
