Hi Protein Layered Taco Dip

 

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1 PACKAGE (1 LB.) EXTRA LEAN GROUND TURKEY

  2. 1 CAN BLACK BEANS RINSED AND DRAINED

  3. 1 CAN REDUCED FAT BLACK REFRIED BEANS

  4. SMALL CONTAINER REDUCED FAT SOUR CREAM

  5. 2 MINCED GREEN ONIONS

  6. 1 AVOCADO SLICED

  7. 1 SMALL CHOPPED SERRANO CHILI PEPPER

  8. 2 MEDIUM DICED TOMATOES

  9. 1/2 HEAD OF LETTUCE SHREDDED OR BUY PACKAGED PRE RINSED, PRE SHREDDED

  10. GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE

DIRECTIONS:

BROWN TURKEY IN NON STICK PAN.  SPRINKLE LOW SODIUM - NO MSG TACO SEASONING OR MAKE YOUR OWN HERE, ADD 1/2 CUP WATER AND SIMMER 5 MINUTES. IN LARGE GLASS BOWL, SO YOU CAN SEE THE LAYERS, LAYER ALL INGREDIENTS, ENDING WITH CHEESE, SOUR CREAM AND SPRINKLE OF PEPPERS.  SERVE WITH BAKED CORN CHIPS.

PS MAKE A DOUBLE BATCH, THIS IS ALWAYS GONE BEFORE KICK OFF!  BRING OUR 2ND BATCH AT HALF TIME
