Kiana, Star, Host and Producer of ESPN2's most popular, trend setting, flagship fitness show, "KIANA'S FLEX APPEAL!" Kiana's Flex Appeal reached over 80 million homes worldwide and upon its debut in June 1995, became the "highest rated show in the history of the entire network" after only 1 week of airing! This top rated fitness program is currently airing internationally and in select areas of the country. Due to Kiana and her show's tremendous success, ESPN created several shows for Kiana: "Kiana's Too Fit 2 Quit," "Summer Sizzle with Kiana" and "Hot Summer Nights with Kiana." Kiana went on to Host other shows for ESPN including "The Super Bowl Nightlife," "The X Games," "Extreme Energy" and "The Fitness America Pageant Series."
After 15+ years in the television and fitness industry, Kiana has been enjoying her much deserved private time off to start a family. She and her fire fighter husband and 2 year old daughter have been traveling and enjoying family time. Kiana says, "This is the best time of my entire life!"
Kiana Facts: Kiana was awarded the prestigious United States Sports Academy Eisenhower Award, for her tremendous contributions, accomplishments and work in the fitness industry. Previous recipient is Arnold Schwarzenegger and the current recipient is Lance Armstrong. Kiana co-starred in Tri Star Pictures' "Universal Soldier: The Return" with Jean Claude Van Damme, Michael Jai White and Bill Goldberg. She also appeared in "Cyber Bandits" with Robert Hayes, Alexander Paul, Grace Jones and Adam Ant. Kiana's Guest Appearances include "The Drew Carey Show," "Family Law," "Pictionary" and "The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborne." Kiana has appeared on the covers and in hundreds of national and international magazines and television interviews such as; "Entertainment Tonight," "EXTRA," "Access Hollywood," "Inside Edition," and all major television news and radio stations. Coming up in October 2005, Kiana will be featured on Discovery Channel's, Fit TV's "Fifty Years of Fitness" which will feature Kiana and her show, Carmen Electra and legends Jack La Lane & Jane Fonda. Kiana Travel: Born in Maui, Hawaii, Kiana and her family spend much of her time in the islands. Kiana taped her show, "Kiana's Flex Appeal" at all the top resorts in Hawaii and Jamaica. Her favorite Resorts include the Grand Wailea Resort, The Ritz Carlton, The Kealani Hotel and the McKenna Hotel in Maui; the Turtle Bay Hotel on Oahu; Swept Away and Breezes Hotel in the Bahamas. Internationally, Kiana has traveled to South America enjoying Brazil and Peru. She partied at Carnival in Rio De Janeiro, shopped in Buenos Aires, took the sky ride to "Sugar Loaf Mountain" and hiked to the top of the Mayan ruins of Machu Picchu in Lima, Peru. Her travels also include going to Japan where after completing a public appearance in Tokyo, Kiana rode the Japanese Bullet Train, went to Japanese Disneyland and even tried "live octopus on a stick!" Kiana has ventured to Europe where she sipped champagne watching the Ferrari & Porsche races in the "Concourse De Elegance" in Monte Carlo; Took in the sites from the Eiffel Tower, witnessed Napoleon's Tomb at the Chapel and gazed in awe at the Mona Lisa at the Louvre in Paris, France; climbed the Piazza di Spagna or Spanish Steps in Rome, drove on the Amalfi Coast and swam in the Mediterranean Sea. Kiana has also traveled to Alaska where she kayaked in the same waters as killer whales, soared thru ice peaks in a helicopter, ate Alaskan King fresh salmon by a wild brown bear and hiked on glaciers. Kiana has gone snorkeling in the Caribbean, Scuba Diving in Maui and competed in a Celebrity Golf Tournament at Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Her next venture is a tour of the Greek Islands.
